About Us
A Great Base for Your Next Adventure
Located in Oxen Park, which is a small village on the edge of the Lake District. The cottages are within day trip range of all the major lakes and attractions that Cumbria has to offer. Also, within easy range are Grizedale Forest and the Furness Peninsula, including the Historic Market Town of Ulverston.
The cottages are a great base for small groups and families to explore the area and take advantage of all the activities on offer. Such as cycling trails, hundreds of walks and hikes, sailing, climbing and so much more. Or for the less adventurous, they offer a getaway in a traditional Cumbrian village, only a short walk from the local pub and restaurant.

One of the best Cottages we have stayed in. Absolutely spotlessly clean quality beds modern and a relaxing view out of the front windows of rolling countryside. So relaxing and had a restful stay will be booking again very soon.
We had a fantastic 3-night stay at these cottages. Immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and with the bonus of free electric car charging! The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax after exploring. Highly recommend for a restful getaway—we’ll definitely be back!
Had a brilliant stay at Mollys pantry, the cottage was spotlessly clean and literally down the road from a fantastic pub. Access was a little tight if you have a large car but if your a confident driver it’s not an issue. Would definitely stay here again!

The Farmhouse (or “Down at Gran’s”) was the heart of our farming family, where everyone got together. In honour of Bill & Molly Jackson, we have named the cottages for them.
Bill’s Barn
Once a barn, where the wood was cut and stored, now a single level cottage. Bill’s Barn has:

- One Twin Room
- Full Sized Family Bathroom
Oxen Park Farm Cottage
The middle of the farmhouse is now a dual level cottage with great views of the fields nearby. Cottage Features:

Molly’s Pantry
This cottage has been transformed from the traditional farmhouse pantries, where Molly’s bakes were stored. Features:
